A Dangerous Exploit Was Found In CS: GO, Anti-cheats Do Not Track It

Users posted a video using scripts.

CS: GO often has bugs and exploits that can be called dishonest. One need only recall the smoke grenade bug used by Ilya m0NESY Osipov at PGL Major Antwerp 2022. However, today users have published an exploit that could potentially destroy fair play.

A player named Elias posted a video using the Autohotkey script on his Twitter. This utility does not interfere with the game files, but it can activate commands through the console, even if the sv_cheats value on the server is 0. The example video shows the r_drawothermodels two command, which allows you to see through walls and works even on official servers. Unfortunately, the utility cannot be detected by VAC or any other anti-cheat, which allows any player to use it with impunity.

An email describing the exploit has already been sent to Valve. Lukas gla1ve Rossander also retweeted a video using the exploit.
