Aerial is leaving the active CS:GO roster. Jani has announced that it is time to pause his professional career due to sleep issues. HAVU fully supports his decision and wishes him all the best, hoping that he will rejoin the team for future games. Jani 'Aerial' Jussila has been a pillar of HAVU for almost 2.5 years, making him a veteran in the green jersey as well.
Aerial also provided his comment:
I have decided to step down from the CS:GO roster of HAVU due to long-standing sleep problems. At the moment, I find it impossible to achieve success. The level of professional CS is very high nowadays, and it's impossible to stay at that level while getting only a few hours of sleep per day. I am not actively seeking a team to play with until I resolve my sleep issues. I wish my teammates the best of luck in the future.
It is worth mentioning that the player has been competing for HAVU since 2021. During his time on the roster, the team was able to win a critically small number of tournaments, which can be counted on one hand. The list of victories provided below is not exhaustive but represents a significant portion:
- Snow Sweet Snow #2
- Funspark ULTI 2021: Europe Season 1
- Pelaajat.com Series Showoff: Spring 2023
Furthermore, they have never made it past the open qualifiers for Majors. However, they have been consistent participants in various tournaments organized by CCT.
Overall, Aerial's presence did not bring much success to the organization. This suggests that the team will lose relatively little, apart from the likely impact on team spirit.
Currently, the organization has not announced who will take Aerial's place.
