AGO Gaming to ESEA Premier S38 finals

Only four teams are left in the tournament.

Third day of the event.

Six teams entered the third day of the ESEA Premier Season 38 Europe playoffs with the ESL Pro League Season 15 spot being reserved for the tournament winner.

Wisla Krakow started with a “16-11” win on Ancient against DBL PONEY, but the French team fired back on consecutive maps on Inferno and Nuke, losing eleven rounds combined for a “2-1” victory to stay alive in the tournament. The second French team, LDLC, could not keep up with their countrymen, however, as BLINK looked very convincing on both Mirage and Dust2, winning both maps with the same “16-8” score, advancing to face DBL PONEY in the next round of the lower bracket. Going back to the upper bracket, two Polish teams clashed for the place in the finals, as AGO Gaming opened the series with a “16-10” victory on Mirage. Anonymo Esports pushed the set to a decider, as they won Ancient in the last round of regulation, “16-14”, but AGO dodged a match point on Vertigo to win it in the overtime, “19-16” and clinch the series, “2-1”.

With only four teams being left in the tournament, the stakes are going to be getting higher until the very last match.
