Four teams passed the open qualification at IEM Dallas.

Astralis, NIP, GODSENT, and sYncK won the open qualifiers and received slots in the closed qualifier at IEM Dallas. There they will meet with Cloud9, fnatic, Spirit, and OG.

Who did the teams beat in the open qualifications?

Astralis and sYncK became the champions of the first open qualification and beat HEET and 9 Pandas, respectively, in the exit matches. At the same time, BIG, Movistar Riders, Tricked, and Sprout were eliminated in the round of 16 qualifiers. The competition at the qualifiers was very high, and for a team like sYncK, winning them is already an achievement. Yes, you can say that the Estonians were lucky with the bracket because they did not meet with NIP, Movistar Riders, or BIG. But, despite this, the result of sYncK is still outstanding.

GODSENT and NIP won the second qualification, in which there were still the same teams, but different teams reached the final stages. NIP defeated Monte in the exit match, and GODSENT won against EPIC DUDES. In general, the final stages of the second qualification were less complex, so it would be easy for NIP to pass them.

How will the closed qualification at IEM Dallas go?

The closed qualification at IEM Dallas will be held in the Double-Elimination format, and all teams will start from the top bracket. Two quotas at IEM Dallas will be up for grabs in closed qualifiers. The first slot will go to the winner of the upper final, and the second place will be played in the lower final.
