Astralis announced the department of Alexander "ave" Holdt. The role of the head coach will be taken by Martin "trace" Heldt, who had been coaching Astralis Talent since January. This decision was made due to ave’s ban, as he was using a coaching bug.

Trace started coaching the Astralis academy team in January and proved to be useful, bringing the team to third place at WePlay Academy League Season 3. Now he will try to cope with another challenge on the tier-1 scene.

Trace’s first tournament as Astralis head coach will be ESL Pro League Season 15, which starts on March 9th.
