Bad News Eagles and Spirit qualify for PGL Major Antwerp 2022

The last day of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Europe RMR B has started, and two more spots at the Major have been distributed.

Firstly, Bad News Eagles faced SINNERS in the battle for the spot.

The match started with Mirage, picked by Bad News Eagles. However, they didn’t manage to show confident performance on their pick. SINNERS gained an advantage on both sides, finishing the game 16-10.

SINNERS chose Nuke and collapsed on this map. Bad News Eagles destroyed their opponents in the first half 13-2 and quickly finished the map 16-6 after the sides switched.

The decider was Inferno, and SINNERS seized an early advantage in the first half finishing it 9-6. However, Bad News Eagles made an outstanding comeback taking down SINNERS 16-14.

Bad News Eagles take the spot at the Major, while SINNERS leave the event one step away from the journey to Antwerpen.

Secondly, Spirit faced Anonymo.

Both teams won their picks in an intense clash finishing them 16-14 and 16-12 relatively. However, Anonymo collapsed on the decider, letting Spirit destroy them. The CIS team didn’t hesitate and finished the last map of the standoff 16-7.

Spirit take the spot at PGL Major Antwerp, while Anonymo go home with 2-3 on their record.
