BIG overcome Movistar Riders in the opening round of IEM Katowice Play-In

The opening round of IEM Katowice 2022 Play-In has come to a close, and the last team to advance to the upper quarterfinals have been decided.

BIG faced Movistar Riders, who are replacing Complexity at this event. BIG started the year with a success, qualifying for Blast Premier Spring Final.

Teams decided to play Nuke, and Movistar Riders started the match with a confident performance. The first half ended with a score of 8-7 in favor of the Spaniards. MR continued their domination in the second half but then lost their focus. BIG started to come back, and the Spanish team weren’t able to stop them in time, losing the map 16-13.

BIG are preparing to face Astralis in the upper bracket, while Movistar Riders are falling to the lower bracket to encounter MIBR.
