Does ElectroNic Really Fail In Terms Of Individual Performance?

With the development of a new role, the NAVI rifler began to play worse. At first, it was not noticeable, but at BLAST Premier World Final 2022, it became the main problem of Natus Vincere. ElectroNic became one of the worst players in the tournament, and his rating was 5.5.

The 5th-6th place of the Ukrainian club at this event was primarily the result of the captain's poor performance.

What Does NAVI Do?

The solution is straightforward - finding a new captain while leaving electroNic as a rifler is possible because the fifth slot in NAVI is now uncertain. However, Andrey B1ad3 Horodensky has already spoken about this.

[Aren't you afraid that the team lacks electroNic firepower?] I'm more worried that we won't have a captain. We don't have IGL in the CIS region, so I'm not afraid [of a lack of firepower]. The main goal for the team is to have IGL.

The coach says there are no captains in Eastern Europe, so there is no one to sign, and IGL should be looked for among already signed players. And electroNic fits this role: an experienced player with a good understanding should be the captain.

However, as we have already seen, the player cannot do two things simultaneously: to show good performance and colling.

All the problems of NAVI lie in the absence of a stable fifth player, which would compensate for the low firepower of electroNic. Therefore, during the winter break, the club needs to solve this problem and not change the captain again.

Now the CS:GO pro scene is quiet. The players have gone on vacation, and the winter Player Break has begun. The first tournament for NAVI next year will be IEM Katowice 2023, which will start on January 31.
