Team Vitality win over Astralis once again, win group A at BLAST Premier Fall

One more victory for the improving team.

The final match of the group.

As both Team Vitality and Astralis have booked themselves a spot at the BLAST Premier Fall Finals event, it was time to find out who was going to win the group A and who was going to come in second place.

Back on Nuke, where the Frenchmen managed to mount an insane comeback on Friday, Astralis once again obtained the lead at the halftime, albeit, only three rounds big this time. The key, however, turned out to be the second round in the second half, as the Danes crushed Team Vitality’s economy with a force buy and ran away with the game, “16-10”. Moving to Vertigo, this time the French team’s offence was firing on all cylinders, getting to a “11-4” lead, helping their defence to close out the map, “16-10”. Back and forth to start the decider on Dust2, Team Vitality went on a run in the middle of the first half, before Astralis reduced the deficit to three at the break, but another streak of rounds to close out the map was more than enough for the Frenchmen, as they won the map “16-9” to take the series with a “2-1” score.

Now both Team Vitality and Astralis are going to be preparing for the IEM Fall RMR Europe qualifier on LAN, as they are yet to guarantee themselves a berth at the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 before turning their attention to the BLAST Premier Fall Finals at the end of November.
