Bravos win against Sharks, to IEM Fall SA grand finals

First team advances to the finals.

Setting up the rematch.

Bravos Gaming and Sharks Esports made it to the upper bracket final at the IEM Fall South America, as the latter could make another step towards their debut at the Majors, this time at PGL Major Stockholm.

Ancient, however, looked grim for YNG Sharks, as Bravos, the reigning South American RMR winners, had a “13-8” lead while being on the defensive side. Sharks’ offence, however found a spark late in the match, as they won eight out of nine last rounds, snatching the map away, “16-14”. Moving to their own pick of Vertigo, Sharks got battered early, as teams switched sides with a “11-4” scoreline in favour of Bravos Gaming and while the favourites found some groove, it was not enough, as the map ended “16-9”. Inferno started well for YNG Sharks, as they led “9-1”, but Bravos Gaming managed not only to reduce the deficit to five rounds, but take a lead in the second half and not let it go, as they nearly swept Sharks Esports away from the server, “16-12” for the “2-1” series win.

Now Bravos Gaming will wait for their opponent in the final match, while YNG Sharks will meet the winner of the MIBR-Imperial Esports match, as winning that will give them a spot at PGL Major Stockholm 2021.
