Chelo will not return to MIBR for IEM Katowice

At the beginning of the season, MIBR announced that Marcelo "⁠chelo⁠" Cespedes was Covid positive and wouldn’t attend Blast Premier Spring Groups 2022. MIBR made the decision not to return him to the main roster for IEM Katowice 2022.

Despite chelo recovering from Covid-19, MIBR announced him missing IEM Katowice 2022. Brnz4n will continue to play for the Brazilian team as a stand-in.

Previously, MIBR did not manage to qualify for Blast Premier Spring Final despite winning NaVi and Complexity. However, their performance was much better than in 2021. MIBR will attend Blast Premier Spring Showdown 2022 in April.

MIBR will start their performance at IEM Katowice 2022 from the Play-In stage, which begins on February 15th.
