Cloud9 defeated FURIA Esports in the top bracket final of Group B at IEM Rio 2023. The result of the meeting is 2:1 (19:17 on Inferno, 9:16 on Vertigo, and 16:12 on Ancient). The team of Vladyslav nafany Gorshkov took first place in the group and received a quota for the championship's semi-finals.
The title of MVP of the match, despite the defeat of FURIA, was earned by Yury Yuurih Santus. He got a rating of 7.0. None of the other participants in the confrontation came close to this indicator. The pairs in the playoff grid of the competition were also determined: BIG — Vitality and FURIA — Heroic will compete in the quarterfinals. The matches will take place on April 21 at 6:00 PM EEST and 21:30 EEST, respectively. Natus Vincere and C9 will start their way to the playoffs from the semifinals.
