Complexity Gaming sweep FaZe Clan, to face NAVI on Saturday at BLAST Premier Fall
An international derby.
Second game of the day.
Following the previous match at the BLAST Premier Fall, group C featured a clash between FaZe Clan and Complexity Gaming, two international teams seeking the return to perennial contender status.
Starting on Nuke, it was back and forth in the first half, as Complexity Gaming secured a narrow lead, but that did not last long in the second half, as “blameF”s troops ran away with the game, “16-8”, leaving FaZe Clan with nearly nothing on their attack. Starting on the defence on Ancient, Complexity Gaming looked to close the game, as they led by one at halftime, but FaZe Clan were the first to hit the match point. That did not turn out to be enough to force a decider map, however, as Complexity Gaming not only tied the score but secured the “19-16” victory as well, clinching the series, “2-1”.
Tomorrow Complexity Gaming will clash with Natus Vincere for the spot in Copenhagen, Denmark, at the BLAST Premier Fall Finals, while FaZe Clan are going to play OG to stay alive at the event instead of dropping to the Fall Showdown.
