Valve has announced Counter-Strike 2, which will be released in the summer of 2023. Such an anticipated event caused an incredible stir in the community.

Many players were surprised by the changes in the smoke grenade system and even expressed some concern. At the same time, most of Valve's shooter fans were inspired by the upcoming update.

On the evening of March 22nd, Valve announced the release of Counter-Strike 2. In addition to updated maps, the shooter will feature a reworked tickrate system, as well as a smoke model from grenades that more realistically depicts its behavior. The game is scheduled for release in the summer of 2023, and closed testing will begin on March 22-23.
