Copenhagen Flames Snatch Victory From Astralis in the CCT Central Europe Series 4 Grand Final
Compared to the previous tournament with Nikolay dev1ce Rydtz, Astralis may have improved the result, but the first place still slipped from their hands.
Astralis had two chances to take advantage after the first half on the first and third maps (Inferno and Nuke, respectively), but in both cases, they did not play well enough to attack.
On the other hand, dev1ce became the best player in the grand final with a rating of 6.9, and MistR was the worst.
The sniper of Copenhagen Flames also became the first in the rating - 6.4.
Conclusions for Astralis
Dev1ce has proven that he has not lost his skills, so the next step for the club will be searching for the perfect fifth player. Either they will want to test someone else from Astralis Talent, or they will scour the market for free agents. There is also an unlikely option that they will forgive k0nfig for his violent behavior outside the server and give him another chance. Probably, not the worst option.
Results
CCT Central Europe Series #4 was held online from December 3 to 18, and the total prize fund drawn by 24 teams was $50,000.
