CS:GO broke the peak online record for the second time this month

The previous record was broken on February 11, over a week ago.

According to the statistical portal Steam Charts, the new online record in CS:GO was set at 13:00 and amounted to more than 1.324 million users. This is approximately 4,000 more than the previous record set on the 11th.

The last time such average figures were achieved was in April 2020, when people stayed at home more often due to the coronavirus pandemic.

It is notable that the peak of 2021 also fell in March-April, but at that time the "Broken Fang" operation was still taking place. If Valve does delight us with a new operation in the near future, the online peak may become even higher.

What could be the reason for such activity of users?

Most likely, players are trying to get the "Revolution" case, which was added to the game on February 10. Often, players use a bind on the scroll wheel to continuously try to open cases in Deathmatch games.

The price of the case itself continues to gradually decrease and is now about $3.06 on the Steam marketplace.
