When I left Spirit, I really wanted to try [to play in a European team] because for me playing CS is not only about winning tournaments and being in good shape. The most important thing is self-improvement.
After I played with OG at BLAST, I realized that the coach plays a vital role in their team. It was exciting to play with nexa. The most important thing I heard from the team was: "You can do whatever you want. We adapt to you." I was never told this. I realized that these guys could give me what I wanted. It was funny to see some snipers joking that I could replace them without realizing that I had already received offers from their teams.

The esportsman also explained by what criteria he chose a team.

If you understand that the season is ending and you want to have degster on your team, you don't have to wait. Some teams wrote to me: "We are interested, but we need to talk." I answered: "OK, but what do you want to ask me? You have already seen how I play. I already said what I want from the team. If you have any "buts," then I will choose another team that won't say "but".

Gasanov is sure that OG can easily enter the top 10 best teams with proper preparation.

I believe in teammates. These guys are outstanding players individually and good as people. It is crucial for me to feel the atmosphere in the team. I already had teams where we had tense situations, but here we communicate super comfortable with each other, try to help, and give advice to those in need. I think if we work right, we can get into the top 10 and win tier-1 tournaments.

Degster joined OG on July 15th. After that, the team went to the RMR tournament for Europe. Earlier, instead of with Gasanov, the team took 3rd-4th place at BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022.
