MAD Lions, fnatic, Gamerlegion to DH Open November

A chance to get into EPL S15.

One more tournament in the books.

With the new qualifying system to the ESL Pro League, one of the EPL S15 Conference was going to be determined during the Dreamhack Open November 2021, a highly competitive eight team event.

Five invitees for the tournament will be ENCE Esports, one of the hottest European teams right now, the Flashpoint 3 winners MOUZ, a new EPL partner BIG, the CIS superstars from Team Spirit and a rebuilt Complexity Gaming lineup. First team to join them through the European qualifiers was MAD Lions, an up and coming squad, as they have managed to sweep both Entropiq and SKADE to get their berth at the event. fnatic had a much tougher road, however, as the British-Swedish mix needed all three games to get by both Eternal Fire and Gamerlegion to book their spot at the tournament. Gamerlegion, however, did not give up and went on a run in the lower part of the bracket, as they have not only outlasted Sinners Esports, but won in the fifth overtime of the decider map against forZe, qualifying for their first event of such magnitude.

Despite the loss, forZe will still participate at the tournament, as they are going to replace Complexity Gaming, who have withdrawn from the event, finalizing the lineup by themselves. The event is going to take place from November 10th to 14th with the winner taking a lion share of a 100 thousand dollars prize pool and a spot at the ESL Pro League Season 15 Conference.
