dupreeh is the most successful player in CS:GO

Peter Rottman dupreeh Rasmussen is a legendary professional player from Denmark. He is the only player who has attended all CS:GO Majors, and has lifted the trophy four times!

So, let's take a look at all of the player's achievements!

Meet Mr. Dupreeh, whose career has definitely been a success!

Dupreeh, whose real name is Peter Rasmussen, was born in Copenhagen in 1993. Dupreeh's success story began in 2012 when he first entered the professional CS:GO scene. He quickly made a name for himself playing for Danish teams such as Team X, 3DMAX, Copenhagen Wolves, and others.

It was in 2013, while playing for Copenhagen Wolves, that he would meet dev1ce! Then in 2014, after moving to Team Dignitas, the two of them would meet Xyp9x! But the team didn't achieve much success in tournaments and was disbanded. The legendary trio then began playing under the tag Team SoloMid5!

One of the team's biggest achievements was finishing in 3-4th place at ESL One: Cologne 2015, as well as 5-8th place at DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca 2015! But let's not forget about the many tier-2 and tier-3 tournaments they won!

And then came the year 2016, which turned out to be a game-changer for the Dane! Astralis began assembling their "golden" lineup. The first lineup that dupreeh was part of looked like this: dupreeh, Xyp9x, dev1ce, cajunb, karrigan!

With these guys, Dupreeh played his first Major, the MLG Major Championship: Columbus 2016, where they finished in 3-4th place. The team then swapped cajunb for gla1ve, and immediately played at ESL One: Cologne 2016, where they finished in 5-8th place.

In 2017, karrigan was replaced by Kjaerbye, with whom Peter Rasmussen won his first Major - the ELEAGUE Major Atlanta 2017! And it was the first big prize money for the Dane - $500,000!

The charged-up team then went on to win the Intel Extreme Masters XI - World Championship and headed to their next Major, the PGL Major Kraków 2017, where they finished in 3-4th place.

After that, the next Major was a failure for the team, and they finished in 12-14th place. As a result, North was able to lure Kjaerbye away, and Magisk took his place.

After that, the team got their "golden" lineup, which would soon start their era! Let us remind you what that legendary Astralis lineup looked like:

  • device
  • dupreeh
  • gla1ve
  • Xyp9x
  • Magisk

On their very first tournament together, the team began to show amazing coordination, and zonic's tactics and strategies only complemented this legendary lineup!

Time of the golden era of Astralis

For any CS:GO team, the most important tournament for obvious reasons is the Major! And our Danes were able to win 3 in a row!

  • FACEIT Major: London 2018
  • Intel Extreme Masters XIII - Katowice Major 2019
  • StarLadder Berlin Major 2019

Astralis was able to create their era, they were a fear for all teams on the list of participants, no one wanted to face them. But the team had a unique feature at the time, they created the longest win streak on the Nuke map in the game! The Danes won Nuke 37 times in a row! Of course, let's not forget about the Intel Grand Slam Season 2 they won! And many other tier-1 tournaments!

All good things unfortunately come to an end

Like any team, there is a "rise" and then the expected decline. After their era, constant work on slaughter and endless flights, the team began to perform worse and worse. First, the legendary line-up left, dev1ce, who moved to NIP! Next, after a short time, Peter Rothmann dupreeh Rasmussen also left the team. He, along with zonic and Magisk, moved to Vitality, where they still play to this day.

Reminder that yesterday, Vitality won IEM Rio 2023! And during his time on the team, dupreeh was only able to win ESL Pro League Season 16. The next important tournament for the team will be the BLAST.tv Major 2023!

Why is dupreeh the most successful player?

  • Played in all CS:GO Majors
  • Record holder for the number of won trophies, 31
  • Became the first player to earn over 2 million in prize money
  • In case of victory at BLAST.tv Major 2023, he will become a record holder for the most won majors!

So there he is, the most successful player from Denmark - Peter dupreeh Rasmussen!
