EDC Season 5 is announced

Bring on all the tournaments

One more European event is set to start.

Entropiq, who won European Development Championship Season 4, will not participate in Season 5, while DBL PONEY, fresh off their EDC final appearance, will try to make a final step this time.

French squad is definitely coming in as one of the favourites, while SKADE, Fiend, K23, AGO Gaming and Team-LDLC will try and challenge for the title. Other ten teams are less likely to win the event, but European CS:GO is getting more and more competitive, so upsets are going to come in spades.

All sixteen teams will be split in four groups before the single elimination playoffs. EDC Season 5 will begin on August 18th and last until September 5th, when a new champion is going to take home a 17500 dollars check - more than a half of the entire prize pool which will be split only between four best teams at the event.
