EG player made homophobic and racist tweets

Representatives of one of the esports media found controversial posts made by 21-year-old EG player Jadan HexT Postma on Twitter using insulting words towards African Americans and LGBT members. 

The tweets were made from 2015 to 2018, one of them aimed at Ulrich Schulze, a manager of ESL FACEIT Group.

Some of the tweets were posted when HexT was 13 years old.

This is not the first time when one of the club's members made racist statements. In 2020, club kicked a fighting game player Christopher NYChrisG Gonzalez due to a three-year-old Facebook post.

What shall EG do?

At the moment there is no information about the attitude of the team or player to this situation. The team can use the age of HexT at that moment to apologize publicly or they will kick the esports athlete. The performance of HexT will also not help him, his rating of 5.5 is the worst in the team, so this situation can be another reason to kick the player from EG.

HexT joined the main EG lineup on August 2nd and previously played for EG Black since June.
