Entropiq win over FURIA in EPL S14

A back and forth battle.

FURIA Esports, plagued by the roster situation and having to play with their head coach, “guerri”, during the ESL Pro League Season 14, opened group D against Entropiq, another CIS team debuting on the highest level of competition after winning ESEA Premier Season 37.

The Brazilian squad, led by “KSCERATO”, got to a solid lead during the defensive half of Overpass, but Entropiq managed to reduce the deficit to three rounds before retaking the lead in the second half. FURIA’s offence woke up only when it was too little too late, as the CIS team closed the map in the last round of regulation, “16-14”. Moving to Ancient, early eco win by Entropiq gave them control over economy and snowballed the score to the “12-3” in their favour, but the map did not end as a blowout. FURIA nearly came back, as Entropiq stole another eco, while leading “14-13”, surviving for a “16-13” and a much needed “2-0” against a shorthanded opponent.

Tomorrow FURIA Esports will clash in a Brazilian derby against Team oNe eSports, who lost to Gambit Esports earlier today, while Entropiq are going to be tested by Ninjas in Pyjamas, seeking its playoffs berth.
