ESL women circuit begins on March 17th
The first women CS:GO circuit is set to start.
At the beginning of the year, ESL announced a series of tournaments for women. Teams prepared female rosters, and the circuit will start in two days.
The circuit begins with regional leagues, which will last six weeks. Every Thursday and Friday, female teams from North America, South America, and Europe will face each other. Every region gets two spots at the final LAN event in June. The last two spots will be obtained in wildcard qualifiers for South Africa and Oceania.
Ten organizations are currently in the competition, while other teams are self-made squads looking for the org. However, other teams are working on signing female rosters, and the most successful mixes from the regional leagues might find home soon.
