Falcons sign Akimbo

Akimbo was founded in January 2022 to attend ESL Challenger February. After taking first place in group B at the event, the French squad were signed by the organization.

Saudi Arabian organization Falcons officially announced the signing of the Akimbo roster. The squad were previously owned by LDLC, who dropped them at the end of 2021. However, the team managed to stay together and even find a place for Jayson "⁠Kyojin⁠" Nguyen Van, who left Vitality in 2021 after underperforming.

The team didn’t show any sufficient results the previous year except local tournament. Although, Kyojin enhanced the roster, and the squad started to win against powerful opponents. For example, Akimbo took a victory against HEET, who were spoken about the entire 2021.

With the organization, the French squad might find their way to the top.
