FalleN Announced His Retirement In 2023 Again

Gabriel Fallen Toledo has confirmed his intention to end his career as a professional player in 2023. He stated this on his Twitter.

GGWP 2022 was an intensive year of reunion, overcoming and learning. Thanks to everyone who was with me. 2023 is waiting for me, possibly my last year when I will focus on professional CS:GO. This year I have many plans and a transition. See you!

Will FalleN Really End His Career?

FalleN started talking about the end of his career at the beginning of 2022, when the Last Dance lineup was assembled, which was signed by the Imperial organization. And in the fall of that year, he clearly announced the end of his career in 2023. Therefore, FalleN is unlikely to use these statements as a PR move.

The Brazilian legend is no longer interested in professional Counter-Strike. The player wants to spend more time with his family, so he wants to end his career. However, what will happen to Imperial after his departure?

Also, the organization can keep the entire backbone of the roster of four players, but replacing FalleN will be incredibly difficult, so this is unlikely.

Despite the recent results, FalleN has already written his name in the history of Counter-Strike. The sniper and captain began his career in CS 1.6, but he gained worldwide fame precisely in CS:GO. FalleN assembled the most potent lineup in the history of Brazilian CS and won two Majors.

Thanks to FalleN, Counter-Strike has become the second football in Brazil. A huge number of CS clubs appeared in South America, and one of them - FURIA, still shows good results on the tier-1 scene.
