FaZe overcome Liquid in group B at IEM Katowice

The second match of group B at IEM Katowice 2022 has been finished, and another team have entered the upper bracket.

FaZe faced Liquid in the opening round of group B. FaZe have completed Play-In without defeats.

FaZe picked Mirage. However, Liquid showed that they were ready for this map resisting in the first half. After the sides switched, Liquid continued to win, finishing the first map 16-11.

Liquid decided to play Ancient, and it turned out to be a mistake from the American team. FaZe destroyed their opponents with a score of 12-3 in the first half. They only needed to finish quick enough to not let Liquid come back.

Inferno was left over, and FaZe continued their domination from the first round of the decider. Both halves were finished in favor of the European team. The map ended 16-9.

FaZe enter the upper semifinals, while Liquid fall to the lower bracket of group B.
