FaZe overcome Players at ESL Pro League

The first day of the playoff at ESL Pro League has been finished, and the second match of the day ended.

FaZe faced Players. Previously, Players got four wins in Group C, while FaZe took three victories.

The match started with Inferno, picked by FaZe. The European team dominated on the T side, winning 11 rounds in the first half. After the sides switched, Players didn’t manage to fight back, and FaZe finished the first map 16-4.

Players chose Mirage and seized an early advantage. The CIS team didn’t hesitate after the defeat on the first map and won 10 rounds in the first half of Mirage. In the second half, the Players’ domination continued, and the map ended 16-5 in favor of the CIS team.

The decider was Overpass, and it turned out to be the most competitive game of the standoff. The first half was close but FaZe were a bit better, getting eight rounds on the T side. After the sides switched, Players collapsed. The CIS team didn’t cope with their opponents on the T side. The decider ended 16-5 in favor of FaZe.

FaZe advance to the semifinal to face NaVi, while Players leave the event getting 9-12th.
