Fnatic take down FaZe Clan, four teams at "2-1" in group C

A complete chaos.

Second upset in a row.

FaZe Clan had a prime opportunity to take first place and essentially guarantee themselves a playoff spot at ESL Pro League Season 14 if they won against Fnatic, who themselves looked to ensure that group C turned into a full chaos.

Overpass looked all but done at the halftime as FaZe Clan locked down the sites for a massive “12-3” lead, which started to quickly disappear once teams switched the sides. “ALEX”’s mix was doing everything to make FaZe Clan’s offence look futile, as they completed the comeback in the last round of regulation, sweeping the map for a “16-14”. Shellshocked, FaZe Clan did not find much in the first half of Mirage, as Fnatic’s defensive dominance spilled to the second map and a “11-4” score. The European mix looked to try and mount a comeback with a pistol round and a conversion but those plans turned south in the very next round, as Fnatic ran away with the map, “16-7” and the entire series, “2-0”.

With four teams tied at “2-1” after three rounds, FaZe Clan will turn to face off against BIG in a must win game, while Fnatic are going to clash against a hungry mousesports squad, seeking the playoffs berth as well.
