Fnatic qualify for IEM Katowice group stage eliminating BIG

The last matches of IEM Katowice Play-In are coming to a close, and more teams qualify for the main stage.

Fnatic faced BIG in the final round of IEM Katowice Play-In. BIG lost to Astralis in the upper bracket while fnatic destroyed Wisla Krakow in the first round of the lower bracket.

Fnatic picked Ancient, and it was a thrilling game. The first half was dominated by BIG, but fnatic managed to come back from 2-13, transferring the game into overtime. And they made the dream come true, winning the first map with a score of 19-17.

BIG decided to play Vertigo and showed outstanding performance on the T side. Fnatic tried to return to the game, but BIG didn’t allow them to do it, finishing the map 16-13.

Overpass was dominated by fnatic. BIG made an attempt at a comeback, but fnatic won too many rounds and finished the game with a score of 16-8.

Fnatic advance to the main stage of IEM Katowice 2022, while BIG leave the tournament one step away from entering the group stage.
