Found New Details About Source 2 In CS: GO
The data miner found new mechanics in the code.
Rumours about the transfer of CS: GO to Source 2 have been circulating for several years. Databases regularly appear on the net with lines of Source 2 code that are clearly related to CS: GO. Today, data miner Gabe Follower published even more information about the game's future update.
In his video, Gabe Follower looked at the code from the Dota 2 update, which included lines related to CS: GO. Among the new mechanics, the data miner singled out:
- A new system of a compilation of assets and graphics
- Effects and display of legs from the first person
- Updated GOTV
- Smoke settings and shaders for the sun
- Detailed physics of machine control
Gabe Follower mentioned that not all changes might apply to CS: GO on Source 2, as Valve has other unannounced projects in development.
