FURIA eliminate Astralis from ESL Pro League

The fourth day of the ESL Pro League playoff has started, and the third quarterfinal has come to a close.

FURIA faced Astralis. Previously, Astralis took down Entropiq, while FURIA advanced to the quarterfinal directly from the group stage.

The match started with Ancient, picked by Astralis. The first half was close, ending 8-7 in favor of FURIA, and the map promised to be competitive. However, in the second half, the Danish team looked much more confident and finished the game 16-13.

FURIA fought on Mirage, their pick. The Brazilians started their domination in the first half, winning ten rounds on the T side, and continued to win after the sides switched. The map ended 16-8.

The decider was Nuke. The first half was competitive as both teams weren’t able to win a streak of rounds finishing the half 8-7. However, FURIA gained focus on the CT side and won the last map of the standoff 16-7.

FURIA advance to the semifinal, while Astralis leave the event taking 5-8th.
