FURIA vs EG - Is There Something To Surprise the "Evil Geniuses"?

The Brazilians are almost one foot into the playoffs of the ESL Pro League, but it's not over for Evil Geniuses, either.

FURIA lost in the group only to the current leaders of Group D at EPL S16, represented by Cloud9. Ax1le later admitted that this was his closest streak in the tournament. Evil Geniuses, on the other hand, proved that they are not complete outsiders and can even make it to the playoffs, but they could only beat Eternal Fire and the incompetent Movistar Riders. Liquid was no longer strong enough.

If we consider the individual performance of the players, we may get the impression that these are teams of the most similar level. But this conclusion can hardly be called correct. EG's stats were influenced by relatively easy qualifying matches for the North American RMR. Obviously, against Liquid and Cloud9, the numbers came out completely different.

The situation on the maps for neaLaN and his teammates also looks sad. Evil Geniuses, unlike most teams, do not play two maps instead of one. Yes, this can be attributed to the transition period amid changes in the roster, but this will free FURIA's hands - the Brazilians will be able to get a big advantage even at the map selection stage. However, there shouldn't be any place for hat-throwing either - Overpass from "Evil Geniuses" can disrupt the plans of the South American team.

With too many factors pointing to a FURIA triumph, EG will have to go all out and jump above their heads to win themselves and secure a playoff spot.
