G2 knock NaVi out from IEM Katowice

The first semifinal of IEM Katowice has come to a close, and the first team have advanced to the final of the tournament.

G2 faced NaVi in the semifinal. Rémy "⁠XTQZZZ⁠" Quoniam was replaced by François "⁠AMANEK⁠" Delaunay as head coach of G2 was tested positive for COVID-19.

G2 picked Inferno and showed confident performance at the beginning of the map. CIS team tried to come back from 5-10, but G2 were unstoppable, and the first map ended 16-12.

The first half of Mirage wasn’t fortunate for NaVi too. However, they managed to deliver from 4-11, making the score equal, but Ilya "⁠m0NESY⁠" Osipov stopped the comeback with a 1v3 clutch, and G2 finished the game 16-13.

G2 advance to the grand final of IEM Katowice, while NaVi leave the event taking 3-4th.
