Gambit win over Entropiq, win group D at EPL S14

The CIS derby to figure the standings out.

Gambit Esports, undefeated after three rounds in the ESL Pro League Season 14, had to face another CIS team in Entropiq, who lost two in a row to both Ninjas in Pyjamas and Team Liquid in the previous matches.

Starting on Dust2, Gambit Esports looked in control in the first half, as they switched to the offence with a three round lead, but Entropiq managed to equalize the score with their defence before the closing stages of the map. There, however, it was all about Gambit, as they took the first game “16-13”, moving to their favourite choice of Vertigo. Back and forth in the beginning, Gambit still managed to run away to take a five round lead before the halftime switch, as it did not take long for them to secure their tenth victory in a row on the map, “16-10” for a “2-0” series win.

Tomorrow Gambit Esports will close the group stage with a match against Ninjas in Pyjamas, while Entropiq are going to face a winless Team oNe eSports team, as they need a win to stay in contention for the playoffs spot.
