Gamers8 will host a tournament in Saudi Arabia with a prize pool of $1 million
The organizer of esports events, Gamers8, from Saudi Arabia, has announced the tournament in Riyadh, which is scheduled to take place in August.
It is stated that 12 "elite" teams will be invited to compete for the prize pool of $1 million. The event will take place from August 14 to 20. There is currently no information available about the format of the tournament or the qualifications.

Most likely, the tournament contractor will be ESL FACEIT Group, which is owned by Savvy Games Group, a Saudi-funded company. ESL will also hold another major championship with a prize pool of $15 million in July, but it will be a Dota 2 tournament.
