Hampus is ready to return from the inactive: will he join NIP?

Rifleman and former captain of Ninjas in Pajamas Hampus hampus Poser may soon return to the pro scene after more than four months of inactivity due to health problems.

The readiness of the Swede to perform on the pro stage again was confirmed by a representative of the SUPP agency without going into the details of whether hampus will return to NIP or whether he wants to move to another organization.

Later, the executive director of NIP, Jonas Gundersen, in a comment for HLTV, said that the club would study options for the development of the squad.

His return puts us in a position where we have many players, both on and off the bench. We're taking our time to properly evaluate our long-term vision in the offseason and ensure we have everything set up in the best possible way to impress everyone in CS2.

Who else can hampus join?

Given the rumors about changes in the OG lineup, the candidacy of hampus for the post of the new captain will be very useful. However, it has yet to be fully known whether the Swede will want to take on the role of an in-game leader again or is interested in his former role as a rifler-lurker.

If Hampus wants to be IGL, then there is also an option with a transition to Liquid, provided that YEKINDAR only wants to call on some maps. The most unlikely scenario would be a transition to G2, but such an opportunity remains quite unlikely for now.

A comparison of the parameters of hampus, niko, and nitr0 indicates a slight difference in performance, and in terms of shooting, it even slightly loses to its counterparts.

Remember that the last tournament for hampus was the November BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022, where NIP took 3-4th place and was sent to the bench on January 26.
