Heroic and G2 won their opening matches of IEM Dallas 2023

The first round of the bo1 group stage at IEM Dallas 2023 has concluded. The group favorites, Heroic and G2, began their tournament campaign with wins. OG, with a replacement in the form of regali, and MOUZ also delighted their fans with victories in Group A.

After midnight, the teams will also play the second round, which will be played in a bo3 format.

Additionally, today, one round will be played in Group B between the following teams:

• ENCE - Complexity
• Liquid - Astralis
• Cloud9 - Grayhound

It is worth noting that three teams from each group will advance to the playoffs, namely the finalists from the upper bracket and the winner of the lower bracket. The final stage begins on June 2.

IEM Dallas 2023 is taking place from May 29 to June 4 in Dallas, USA. 16 teams will compete for a prize pool of $100,000. In addition, the tournament participants will also compete for ranking points within the BLAST Premier system and a chance to secure a slot in IEM Cologne 2023.
