With four teams left standing in the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown, only two would make it to the BLAST Premier Fall Finals in Copenhagen, Denmark, later this fall.

Heroic, eager to play on the home soil, started their series against OG with a narrow lead in the first half of Inferno. The European mix still opened the second half with a “5-1” run, retaking the lead at “12-9”, but seven rounds in a row for Heroic allowed the Danish lineup to run away with the opener, “16-12”. Moving to Overpass, it was all OG in the beginning, as they led “6-1”, but Heroic still managed to win the half, “8-7”. A back and forth second half never allowed any of the teams to build a stable economy, but in the end it was Heroic winning the map, “16-11” and the entire series, “2-0”, qualifying for the Fall Finals. Team Liquid started with winning two halves against MAD Lions on Nuke for a convincing “16-9” map score, but on Inferno it was a different story. The European team led “10-5” at the half, looking to equalize and force a Dust2 decider, but the North American squad recovered in time to secure the “16-13” win on the map to take the series, “2-0”.

With all eight teams qualifying for the BLAST Premier Fall Finals, now it is time to watch how the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 unfolds to find out who is going to be the favourite later this fall at the Danish event.
