Heroic defeat NKT; GODSENT take down Evil Geniuses at Blast Showdown

The first day of Blast Premier Spring Showdown 2022 has come to a close, and two more standoffs concluded.

At the European Blast, Heroic faced NKT. NKT announced the change in the roster just before this match.

The match started with Heroic’s domination on Inferno. The first half ended 13-2 in favor of the Danish team. The second half was a bit more competitive, but Heroic didn’t hesitate and won the opponents’ pick 16-7.

Heroic chose Nuke. NKT seized an early advantage winning ten rounds on the CT side. However, Heroic didn’t give any chance to their opponents and came back, defeating NKT 16-11.

Heroic advance to the semifinal to face ENCE, while NKT leave the event with 5-8th.

At the American Blast, GODSENT faced Evil Geniuses.

Evil Geniuses picked Overpass, but GODSENT showed better performance in the first half. The Brazilian team won nine rounds on the CT side. The domination continued, and GODSENT finished the map 16-8.

GODSENT chose Mirage, and this map turned out to be more competitive. However, the Brazilian squad still won 8 rounds on the CT side. After the sides switched, Evil Geniuses collapsed and lost the map 16-11.
