IEM Dallas: Day 2

The second day of the IEM Dallas group stage has come to a close, and now it is time to sum up the results of the past matches.

Group A.

Only two matches took place in Group A, but as a result, two teams left the tournament. G2 knocked out Astralis, and Vitality defeated MOUZ. The most intense of these confrontations was G2 vs Astralis. The match reached the decider, but G2 overcame their Danish opponents. Today, Vitality and G2 will compete for a spot in the playoffs.

Group B.

There were twice as many matches in Group B. FURIA and BIG won in the upper bracket. Both teams have secured a place in the playoffs and will compete for a spot in the semifinals. In the lower bracket of Group B, Liquid beat out Imperial, and NIP eased past Complexity.

Today it will be the last day of the group stage, during which all the participants of the playoffs and their distribution will be determined.
