IEM Dallas: Results of the group stage
Six participants of the playoffs are decided.
The IEM Dallas group stage has come to a close, six teams have qualified for the playoffs, and now it is time to sum up the results of the first stage of the event.
Group A.
In the upper final of group A, ENCE faced FaZe, and the current Major champions lost to the Finnish team that performs at IEM Dallas with a stand-in. ENCE advance to the semifinals, FaZe will start the playoffs from the quarterfinals. In the lower final of the group, G2 beat Vitality and earned a place in the quarterfinals.
Group B.
BIG showed a surprisingly high result and not only reached the upper final of Group B, but also won it, taking a place in the semifinals. Thus, FURIA are sent to the quarterfinals. At the same time, Cloud9 easily beat Liquid in the final of the lower bracket and earned the last place in the quarterfinals.
Tomorrow IEM Dallas will continue, and 4 teams will remain at the tournament.
