AURA, Fiend, fnatic, MAD Lions finalize the IEM Fall 2021 Europe list

Last but not least four squads to the RMR event.

With the last four spots on the line at the IEM Fall 2021 Europe, eight teams were ready to join the server and battle for a chance to make it to the PGL Major Stockholm 2021.

It did not take long for fnatic to recover after their loss to Sinners Esports, as they faced Eternal Fire. Neither map was a one sided affair, as Eternal Fire kept lurking around on the scoreboard, but both Vertigo and Mirage went the way of a European mix, which keeps its chance of making sixteenth Major in a row for Fnatic as the organization. Another Swedish team, AURA, did not stop shocking teams during their run in the closed qualifiers, as they managed to eliminate sAw from contention. The Portuguese team started with a solid performance on Ancient, but got stomped on Overpass and then could not close Inferno despite having a “12-6” lead, as AURA moved on to the next stage. Fiend brushed off yesterday’s misfortunes against Copenhagen Flames, as they swept OPAA to join SKADE in the next round, while MAD Lions kept their good form against Anonymo, winning in three games and moving on.

Now that the list of participants is settled, every team is waiting for the schedule to be announced to figure out its path to the PGL Major Stockholm 2021, as only top-11 squads with the most earned RMR points will advance to the Swedish event later this year.
