IEM Rio Major 2nd European Open Qualifier RMR: How Was the First Day?

The second European open qualifier for the RMR has already started, with only 32 teams left in the bracket. Unfortunately, some famous clubs have already left the qualifier before reaching 1/32, while other teams showed much better results than in the previous qualifier.

Entropiq, Astralis, Benched Heroes, Copenhagen Flames, Budapest Five, Movistar Riders, d00m failed to qualify again. The most notable from the list were again Astralis, who lost to the CIS team. This time the Danish team lost to Neon Rangers with a score of 16-14.

Most of these teams were eliminated at 1/64. However d00m (team of Get_RiGht) left the qualifiers at 1/256, losing to Fnatic.

Of the teams participating in 1/32, the most curious were K23, SAW, forZe, Fnatic, and 9 Pandas Esports. Most of these clubs left the last qualifier before 1/32, and now they have a chance to get into the RMR.

Today the open qualifiers will continue, and four teams will advance to the European RMR event.
