Into the Breach Said Goodbye to Their Team: What Will Happen to the British CS?
How many Brits are left on the pro scene?
Into the Breach announced the disbandment of its British-Swedish CS:GO team. The club is already negotiating with a new roster.
The organization Into the Breach officially announced the dissolution of its CS:GO team. The club also reported that it is already in talks with a new roster, which Into the Breach will announce in the first week of January. The British core of the team played together for more than a year and a half.
Who are Into the Breach?
At some point, even Owen smooya Butterfield joined the team and showed good statistics. However, he only approached the club after passing the trial period.
During the entire existence of the ITB organization, they have won one tier-3 LAN event, Assembly Summer 2022.

Who Left on the British Scene?
Into the Breach was one of the few clubs that tried to promote the British Counter-Strike. Unfortunately, it is not a fact that the team will continue this trend after signing a new roster. So how many Brits are left on the pro scene?
After Into the Breach's dissolution, only tier-3 tier-4 stacks were left in Britain, unable to compete even with tier-2 teams. The only British player who remained on the tier-1 stage is William mezii Merriman from fnatic. Previously, Alex ALEX Makmykin, who recently left the team's reserves, also played for fnatic.
Thus, if ITB does not return with another British roster, then British CS can be considered dead.
What's Next?
At the moment, the British Counter-Strike can only be saved by smooya, the only Briton with good media. Perhaps he and ITB will try to do this, but until this happens, we are unlikely to see other Britons on the tier-1 scene.
