"k0nfig" and "blameF" join Astralis

Start your morning with a massive news drop.

A transfer bomb.

The rumours about Astralis roster changes coming up after PGL Major Stockholm 2021 have swirled for a long time, but they came out once the four-time Major winners were eliminated from the Swedish event.

Despite “gla1ve” and “Xyp9x” signing new deals to stay with the Danish organization, “dupreeh”, “Magisk” and the head coach “zonic” have decided to part ways with the team, leaving three spots in the active lineup. Taking them will be a former Complexity Gaming star duo of “k0nfig” and “blameF”, as well as another Danish legendary Counter-Strike 1.6 player “ave” taking the coaching reins from his old mTw teammate.

With “Lucky” being the least accomplished member of the team, those deals essentially push “Bubzkji” away from the team, which implies that Astralis will try to either sell his contract or outright release him. As well as for the superstars, it is long rumoured that “dupreeh” might be joining Ninjas in Pyjamas after the Major, while “Magisk” and “zonic” can either follow him and “device” to the Swedish team or build a new project with all their winning experience behind.
