NAVI-Vitality headline the playoff bracket in Sweden

The bracket is set.

After the last round of the Swiss system group stages at PGL Major Stockholm 2021 had ended, it was time to draw the bracket in accordance with the results by each participant throughout the group stages.

The number one team in the world, Natus Vincere will clash in a ESL Pro League Season 14 final rematch with Team Vitality, as the French team squeaked by into the final eight after three straight victories in the group stage. On the same side of the bracket are Gambit Esports, potentially setting up a yet another NAVI-Gambit blockbuster in the semifinals, as the CIS squad will face FURIA Esports in the quarterfinal. The third Eastern European mix, Virtus.pro is going to play against Heroic, as the Danes looked promising during the last few days of the event, while the last quarterfinal will pit the archrivals of G2 Esports and Ninjas in Pyjamas against each other.

The playoff bracket, which is going to play out in front of the sold out crowd in Stockholm, will crown the winner of the sixteenth Major tournament, as the champion is going to claim a whooping one million dollars share of the prize pool in addition to the coveted trophy.
