The first opponent of Monte in the qualifiers for ESL Challenger Katowice 2023 has been determined

The organizers of ESL Challenger Katowice 2023 have released the seedings for the closed qualifiers in Europe. The announcement was made on the tournament operator's official Twitter account.

First-round matchups

The Ukrainian club Monte will face the stack of lookingForOrg, while BIG will play against HOTU. Additionally, GamerLegion will compete against Movistar Riders, and Ninjas in Pyjamas will face DomiNation eSports. All matches are scheduled for May 20th at 16:30 EEST.

The European qualifiers will take place online from May 20th to 22nd. The teams will be competing for one slot in the LAN event. You can follow the progress of the competition through the link.

The direct invitations to the tournament based on the CS:GO team rankings were given to Virtus.pro, ENCE, FORZE, and paiN Gaming. Three more teams secured their spots through qualifications in various regions: Party Astronauts, 9z Team, and Bravado Gaming. The final team in the competition will be determined by the winner of the European qualifiers.

ESL Challenger Katowice 2023 will take place from June 9th to 11th in Poland. The teams will compete for a prize pool of $100,000 and a slot in ESL Pro League Season 18. You can follow the schedule and results of the tournament here.
