mouz move past EG, hunting playoffs at EPL S14

Winners of Flashpoint 3, mousesports, looked to rebound during their ESL Pro League Season 14 campaign, as they prepared to take on a struggling Evil Geniuses squad, unable to find its identity even after multiple roster changes.

Back and forth in the first half of Inferno, EG switched to their patented defence with only a one round deficit, but mousesports’s offence led by “frozen” turned the entire game on its head. Round after round, the European team would exploit different openings, as mouz opened the match with a “16-8” map win, before moving to Nuke. Evil Geniuses, once again, looked in control of the first half, as they managed to accumulate a five round lead, which evaporated in a blink of an eye, as mousesports switched to a more favourable defensive side. EG’s offence could not mount more than one round, as mousesports secured a “16-11” victory for an overall “2-0” series win.

Tomorrow mousesports will face off against Fnatic in a must-win situation, while Evil Geniuses are going to try and play the spoiler to Natus Vincere, who lost their first EPL match earlier in the day.
