mouz NXT eliminate Fnatic Rising, to the WePlay AL S1 grand finals

Two down, two remain.

Setting up the rematch.

Both mouz NXT and Fnatic Rising have already faced Young Ninjas during the LAN portion of WePlay Academy League Season 1 and it was the time to decide who would get the chance to redeem themselves against young Swedes.

Nuke was all about the more experienced mouz NXT lineup, as they ran away with both halves, snowballing leads on both offence and defence for a “16-7” victory. Inferno, however, while was back and forth in the beginning, ended up with the same type of performance for Fnatic Rising, who forced a decider after a convincing “16-8”. Early “5-2” on Vertigo turned quick on Fnatic Rising as mouz NXT went up “11-5” in a blink of an eye. An eco round victory right after a lost pistol gave international mix a lifeline, but in a wild finish it was mouz NXT prevailing with a “16-14”.

Top-3 finish for Fnatic Rising despite announcing the roster few days before the beginning of the event should still be considered a success, while mouz NXT will clash with Young Ninjas for the title of the best Academy team at the event.
