MOUZ survive against BIG, move to the next round in Sweden

The winners of the German derby.

One more qualifying match is in the books.

With only two spots in the next stage in play, it was time for the first stage to keep unfolding at PGL Major Stockholm 2021 with another game in the fifth round.

MOUZ looked to steal the opponent’s pick in Dust2, as they got to a “6-1” start. BIG, however, managed to reduce the deficit to only three rounds at halftime before dropping only one more before the finish line, nearly shutting out MOUZ’s offence on their defence for a “16-10” scoreline. Inferno was a different story, however, as this time the international team jumped to a “9-1” lead before BIG once again, switched to the offence three rounds behind. Trading rounds back and forth in the second half worked for MOUZ, as they finished with a “16-12”, forcing a decider to be played. On Nuke no team started strong, as there was only a one round gap between the both at the break, but BIG could not put consecutive rounds together until it was almost too late into the game, as MOUZ won the third map, “16-12” and the series, “2-1” to advance to the next round of play in Stockholm.
